I remember this guy back in the youtube days! I loved seeing the progress shots on twitter, especially some from a friend in this.

It was worth the wait, only to see more of the animation. It's incredible smooth and astonishing, i loved the vibrant colors and backgrounds going on. The movement of the characters and how consistent the style is with each animator! Very lovely.

However, every time the main character's voice came along I just couldn't help but groan. It is not a pleasing voice you'll have to listen to for the whole episode. Beebs was great and so were some others, however the strongest points in this cartoon were the scenes were no characters were talking due to this. (montage, some of the fight scene)

The character Shrike is a walking stereotype and after this cartoon, one of my least favorite characters from this rising show. How his voice constantly switches to Spanish to English mid sentence, getting angry and switching to Spanish, etc. I've been talking to many bilingual friends and they have never done that (Some as a joke, but never in conversation). It's sad that his character is written poorly in this, considering he has such a nice design. Very much hoping this will be looked back upon in the upcoming episodes.
